Tungsten Electrode GrinderTeg-3 dedicated tungsten grinder

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Limited presents its TEG - 3 Tungsten Electrode Grinder.

FEATURES

LIFETIME Guarantee

HFT offer a lifetime guarantee on the MOTOR of the TEG-3

Repeatable points every time

The use of the 'TEG - 3 Tungsten Electrode Grinder' will give exactly the same tungsten points every time, enabling consistent repeatable arc performance and welding results.

Axial grinding

By grinding the points longitudinally, the 'TEG - 3 Tungsten Electrode Grinder' eliminates arc flicker or wander.

Sizes

Sizes from 1.6mm to 4mm can be ground as standard. Any other sizes can be catered for on request.
The TEG-3 Grinder is so powerful that it will grind tungsten electrodes up to 6 mm diameter, without stalling or burning out the motor. Remember, our lifetime guarantee and it has no limits. With the aid of a special collet accessory, short tungsten electrode lengths can be held, thus increasing the life of each electrode.

Low cost

The TEG-3 Tungsten Electrode Grinder, has been designed and manufactured specifically for grinding Tungsten Welding Electrodes up to 6 mm diameter.

Prolonged tungsten life

A tungsten electrode tip ground with the TEG-3 machine, will have a much greater life than a tip that has be hand ground on a workshop wheel or belt machine.

Arc Stability

Tungsten Electrode Tips ground with the TEG-3 Grinder, will be smooth and free from ridges, thus preventing erratic arc behaviour, arc flickering and arc instability.

TIG and plasma welding requires tungsten electrodes with perfectly ground and polished tips. Huntingdon Fusion Techniques' 'TEG - 3 Tungsten Electrode Grinder' provides these, time-after-time, to exactly the same size and shape at low cost.

The diamond wheel grinds the tungsten longitudinally. This prevents arc flicker or wander caused by circumferential lines or ridges found on electrodes which have been ground circumferentially. With tungsten electrodes ground and polished, mechanised welding can produce identical, repeatable results every time. With manual welding the shape of the tungsten is just as important.

With a correctly-shaped tip, the arc can be precisely positioned with none of the preferential arcing experienced when using poorly shaped manually ground tips.

The 'TEG - 3 Tungsten Electrode Grinder' is a high performance tool that is an essential for every welding workshop where TIG process is used.
